Metal Roofing
What is the cost verses traditional roofing?
Metal roofing generally costs about twice what traditional roofing costs initially. Asphalt shingles have an average lifespan of about 20yrs. Metal roofing can easily last 50yrs or more. This brings the cost of metal roofing to less than asphalt over the course of its life.
Will it look appropriate on my home?
Metal roofing comes in a variety of looks from standing seam to metal shingles. The metal shingles are made to replicate slate, shakes and Spanish tile. All styles come in a variety of colors to enhance the curb appeal of your home.

Will it be loud when it rains?
When many people think about a metal roof, they think about the sound of the rain falling on the roof of an old barn. That’s a very “soothing” sound, unless of coarse you live in it. Metal roofs on houses DON’T sound this way. Houses have solid roof decking and insulation. Metal roofs are no louder than asphalt shingles.
Isn’t it dangerous? Will snow avalanche off in the winter?
Snow tends to adhere to asphalt shingles because of the granular surface. Snow slides off metal, which can be good in some places, and just plain dangerous in others. We install snow retention systems to keep the snow in place and allow it to melt and/or come off in smaller safer amounts at a time.
